This program is essential and needed everywhere because of the time we are presently in with all the data breaches, hacking, cyberstalking, and attacks on company and individual computer devices and systems. Today, anyone utilizing the Internet and any type of computer system should have knowledge of how to protect their data and information. Cybersecurity is essential. This knowledge goes beyond Computer Science studies, the knowledge from this program is for anyone who touches technology.

Computer Science: Computer Science Studies CSCU PATHWAY Transfer Degree, AA
This degree is a calculus-based program that provides students with a broad background in the underlying disciplines of computer science,
including:
- The fundamentals of computer programming
- Database theory and design
- Digital systems including digital logic, computer organization & architecture, and assembly language

- Pathway Transfer A.A. degree programs are for Connecticut Community College students who wish to transfer to one of the four Connecticut State Universities or Charter Oak College.
- Upon transfer, students are guaranteed full junior status and can complete a bachelor’s degree in their major without losing any credits or being required to take any extra credits.
